1865 (6 Aug.) blue envelope registered to Dublin, marked "Via Marseilles", bearing 8p. purple and 2a. yellow pairs (3) and a single, each cancelled by poor "B/172", showing red crayon "1/3", rare framed "regt letter no" h.s. in red and, on reverse, "singapore/p.o." double-ring d.s. and "h&k pact" transit d.s.; the envelope with some peripheral age spots.
