Sarah Bane Belzoni (1783-1870) was an English traveller and writer. She is most known for her travels to Egypt. Her husband, Giovanni Battista Belzoni (1778-1823) was an Italina explorer and archaeologist of Egypt. Best known for his removal to England of the seven-tonne bust of Ramesses II, discovering the tomb of Seti II and being the first to enter the second pyramid of Giza.
