Great Britain: County Fire Office, a pair of certificates for shares, 185[1], #3111-3115 and 187[6], #3387-3388, both small format, printed in black, on vellum, both cancelled. The company was formed in 1808 with J Barber Beaumont as managing director. Both of these are signed by his son John Augustus Barber Beaumont who took over on his fathers death in 1841. Acquired by Alliance Assurance Company in 1906 but kept the trading name. VF (2).
