1865 (7 June) envelope ex the Laver correspondence to Auckland, bearing 1d. carmine-vermilion horizontal pair lightly cancelled with two"province of auckland/n.z." code 1 datestamps and with a further complete strike and faint Auckland datestamp in red on reverse; the pair with light stains at top and the envelope torn through opening on reverse, nevertheless an attractive franking.
