1896 (26 June) envelope registered to the Inspectorate General I.m.c., Peking bearing first issue 5c. and second issue 1c. tied by "chinkiang/postal agency" c.d.s. along with a good strike of the new, unframed "registered/no 192 in red, there is also a good strike of the Tientsin registered oval struck in red and, on the reverse (part of the flap missing) a further despatch c.d.s., Shanghai Local Post c.d.s. (28.6) in black, "customs/tientsin" (4.7) and "customs/peking" (5.7) both struck in blue. A very rare combination of Chinkiang Local Post with the Customs Post, paying the correct 6c. rate. Photo

1896年6月26日鎮江寄北京掛號封, 收件者為"Inspectorate General I.m.c.", 貼第二版壹分及第一版伍分各一枚, 銷鎮江雙圈英文日戳, 左下端蓋新使用的紅色無框帶手寫號碼"192"掛號戳, 左上端則蓋紅色天津橢圓框"R"掛號戳, 另以藍色筆劃大"十"字貫通全信封面, 封背蓋另一相同鎮江雙圈英文日戳, 6月28日上海工部日戳, 藍色7月4日天津海關日戳及藍色7月5日北京海關戳, 十分罕有的鎮江書信館郵局與海關郵局系統混實寄封; 源存完好._x000D_ _x000D_ 源流: 1994年11月Charles Dougan; 著作: 1981年"上海郵政系統" (The Shanghai Postal System) Charles Dougan. 69頁插圖; 請留意這枚新使用的無框掛號戳是在1896年的前半年間.
