1894 (17 June) envelope to New York "Via Europe" bearing second issued ½c. black on pink with ½c. red on yellow cancelled by a single strike of the Kewkiang Local Post dated oval, alongside is prepaid Hong Kong 10c. purple on red tied by British Post Office Shanghae c.d.s. (19.6) and, on the reverse, Shanghai Local Post c.d.s. (19.6) in blue, and two different New York postmarks (10-11.8). A good cover which is thought to be the earliest bearing the second issue stamps. Photo


1894年6月17日九江經歐洲寄紐約封, 貼第二版半分黑色印於粉紅色紙及紅色印於淺黃色紙票各一枚, 銷紫色九江工部橢圓形日戳, 旁另貼香港女皇像十仙票一枚, 銷6月19日英國在上海客郵戳, 在封背蓋有藍色6月19日上海工部日戳, 另有兩枚不同大小的紐約(10-11.8)的到達戳, 相信是最早貼用第二版九江商埠票的實寄封; 保存良好.
