1869 (24 Sept.) half of a Rainbow wrapper addressed to Hankow bearing G.B. 1858-72 2d. blue plate 13 pair with 1867-80 1/- plate 4 tied by London "105" duplex paying the 1/4d. rate, sent "via Marseilles"; the flap shows a fair strike of Hong Kong to Shanghai Marine Sorter type 6 dated Nov 6/9 69 (Webb's Scarcity Guide RRR). This is believed to be the earliest example of this transit datestamp. Photo


1869年9月24日倫敦寄漢口"彩虹夫人"封套半個, 貼英國1858-72年藍女皇票2d.一對及1s.一枚, 銷倫敦"105"郵戳, 該封套經馬賽及香港, 並於封套上留下香港去上海的1869年11月6-9日輪船揀信局六型日戳(Webb's Scarcity 指引為RRR級), 相信是這類轉遞戳的最早期使用例.
