It is difficult to estimate how many unsurcharged second printing stamps were produced. Studying illustrations from past catalogues it is likely that about 300 each of the low values and 180 each of the high values passed into public hands.
It appears that the perforatimg of these unsurcharged stamps was performed in a hurry as there are many sheets where the perforations are well out of alignment.
The 24ca. is the easiest stamp to map as this is the value which is more often illustrated in past literature. I have illustrations of 75 stamps which includes several multiples. It is interesting to note that there are some distinct similarities in the positions of the perforation from different panes
