1894 an interesting group addressed to the British Consul or his wife with 1894 (13 Oct.) envelope to Chefoo bearing 3ca. mauve tied by Peking seal in blue and, on the reverse, Peking, Tientsin type II and Chefoo Customs c.d.s. (signed by Peter Holcombe); 1894 (11 June) stampless envelope to Peking bearing Tientsin Customs c.d.s. in blue and a small manuscript "3" in blue crayon which either represents cash payment or an early postage due (signed Peter Holcombe) and 1894 (7 July) envelope to Peking bearing 1c. Chefoo Local Post tied by the Local Post c.d.s. and, on the reverse, a further strike of the despatch c.d.s. with Customs Tientsin transit c.d.s. An intriguing and desirable group. Photo


1894年三通寄給英國公使及其夫人的實寄封; 1894年10月13日北京寄煙臺封，貼三分銀，銷北京藍色中文戳，封背分別有北京，天津及煙臺海關日戳( 有Peter Holcombe簽名); 1894年6月11日天津寄北京無票封，銷藍色天津日戳，另有一細小的藍色手寫"3"字，這是代表郵資或早年的欠資記號( 有Peter Holcombe簽名)，1894年7月7日煙臺寄北京封，貼一仙煙臺商埠票，銷煙臺工部日戳，封背有派發日戳及天津中轉的海關日戳. 難得的一組信封.
