10fr. on 1fr.50c. blue, spaced surcharge, much better centred than usually encountered, in conjunction with "American Legion" 1fr.50c. on 23 August registered envelope to Le Havre, tied by "new-york au havre/d" octagonal datestamp, special six-line catapult cachet, "R" and the associated linear "new-york au havre d" handstamps at left, backstamps including Paris and Le Havre.
