10fr. on 90c. red and 10fr. on 1fr.50c. blue, each in blocks of four from the lower left corner of the sheet, positions 41-42/46-47, the two upper positions showing spaced surcharge, with marginal current number in lower margin, each applied as single multiple on 23 August envelope to Paris, tied by "new-york au havre/d" octagonal datestamps, six-line cachet of the "Ile-de-France" catapult flights adjacent, both with arrival on reverse. An extraordinary duo exhibiting the only set in blocks of four recorded, featuring the "spaced surcharge" variety; ranging among the most significant airmail items of French philately.
