1893 (23 Oct.) envelope registered from Hobart to the Australian Stamp & Coin Company in Sydney, bearing 1891 2½d. on 9d. pale blue horizontal pair, variety surcharge double, one inverted twice cancelled with duplex and with faint registration handstamp at left, arrival datestamp on reverse; some foxing around the perforations though a rare used multiple of this scarce variety on cover.
