1795 (11 Oct.) entire letter from Langford Lovell to Christopher Bethell in London, rated "1/-" and showing mainly fine "antigua" handstamp (Proud Type PS12) with arrival datestamp (20.11) on reverse. The writer mentions the troops under convoy of the "Scipio" arrived at Martinico, and 1,800 were immediately sent to St. Vincent where the attack was successful. Photo
