1945-47, a group of covers which includes 1945 (11 July) envelope to Sydney bearing Australia 3d. tied by Field Post Office "037" c.d.s., 1946 "O.A.S." envelope to South Australia bearing 1/6d. Hermes tied by Kuala Belait type D8 datestamp (a rare value used by the Australian forces); 1946 (Apr.-May) On Government Service envelopes registered to New Zealand and to England, the latter with the enclosure informing the recipient that there are not sufficient postage stamps available to be able to fill his order, and 1947 stampless O.H.M.S. envelope of the Commonwealth of Australia registered to London.
