1939-41 a group of covers with three from Brunei to U.S.A. with 14c. franking (2) or 30c. franking for registered, each bears a good strike of Singapore boxed "passed by/4/censor" in purple, two with additional censor seal; two covers from Belait, one from the Assistant Resident to England bearing the correct 55c. franking (opened-out) and surface 8c. franked cover to England, both with Belait c.d.s. and with brown paper censor seal and unframed "passed by/censor .../a" in purple; also 1940 (14 Nov.) envelope from Miri to U.S.A. bearing 12c. franking tied by Belait c.d.s. and bearing triangular Singapore "63" censor mark. A good group. (6 covers)
