Belait: 1931-49 a group of covers with 1931 "On Government Service" envelope registered to Birmingham with 5c., 6c. and 10c. paying the correct rate of 6c. postage and 15c. registration with the black on cream registration label (cover slightly reduced at foot), single franking $1 on envelope registered to Birmingham; 1938 8c. on cover to London paying the correct rate; 1947 philatelic envelope registered to Singapore cancelled by type D10 c.d.s. and bearing the temporary typewritten registration label, philatelic envelope registered air mail to Blackpool with the printed registration label and manuscript "AV2" in blue crayon; 1948 envelope registered to Bangkok bearing 30c. and returned to sender with a fine array of markings and original contents; 1949 envelope sent air mail registered to Canada with $1.85 franking and with "montreal a.m.f." arrival c.d.s.
