An original Mail Coach copper post horn, 4'1" long, with the Royal coat of arms in brass, the end of the horn stamped "(Crown)/84/Royal Mail"; fine and housed in its original wicker container.
One of only five similar authentic examples known to exist. Two (numbered 82 and 92) owned privately and two (one of which is numbered 83) in the Postal Museum.
