1846 (9 June) entire letter from Miramichi to Charlotte Town, rated "4½" and showing a good to fine strike of the rare "Prince Edward Island/ship letter" handstamp (P112) with P5 arrival datestamp (12.6) on reverse; the entire a little soiled and with some small faults, nevertheless very rare with only three examples of this handstamp recorded.
