1941 (6 Feb.) air mail envelope from Lloyd Triestine to Thailand "via Siberia and Japan Airway to Bangkok" bearing Italy 4l.75 franking tied by Trieste c.d.s. with the registration label at foot; a fine array of markings including British censor seal at left and censor handstamp in purple, Chungking c.d.s. (11.3) where a Post Office registration slip was added and cancelled, Kunming c.d.s. (14.3), Bangkok (1.4) and Phuket arrival (4.4). A charming cover flown on the Chungking - Rangoon line (where it was censored) and was not sent via Japan as indicated. Photo
