1941 (23. Oct.) envelope to New York beaing 10c. on 25c. tied by Tsangwu (Pingnam) Chinese/English c.d.s. and bearing, on the reverse, a large part label, "After returned from Hongkong where it was originally sent through, and kept for a long time owing to hostilities, this letter is now forwarded via Chungking" which bears neat Canton 1942 (20 Nov.) c.d.s. with New York High Bridge Station machine postmark alongside; the address side with part Chungking c.d.s., Tihwa (2.2) and circular U.S. censor handstamp. The envelope was not sealed (the flap tucked in) and pays the 10c. printed paper rate. A rare cover despite the faults. Photo
