1941 (19 Nov.) envelope to Tihwa bearing Sun Yat Sen 5c. plus Martyrs 3c. with Shanghai overprint tied by Kuche dotted c.d.s. and bearing, on the reverse, Kuche English/Chinese c.d.s. in purple indicating censorship; the Sun Yat Sen stamp trimmed at top on opening, otherwise a good cover and rare bearing this Martyr stamp. The postage rate was increased to 15c. on 1st November but this paying the old 8c. rate as the notification may not have reached the despatch office in time. Photo
