1931 (24 May) opened-out red band envelope registered to Saitula bearing 1924-36 3c. (4) with official perfin, tied by Pishan Chinese c.d.s. with a further strike alongside, fine strikes of Hotien Sin (Khotan) (26.5), Lopu (29.5) and returned to Pishan with further Khotan c.d.s. (30.5); the cover bears manuscript registration number and a fine strike of the large official seal in red. A clean and attractive cover between these small places; there was no post office and the government courier service was the only operation between Lopu and Saitula. Photo
