1930 (9 Aug.) envelope registered to Peking bearing 1916-19 30c. with official perfin tied by Tihwa (Urumtsi) c.d.s. with a second strike alongside and marked "by railway via Vladivostok", the reverse with Peking (19) arrival c.d.s. (4.9), large official seal in red and three-character instruction mark. Light creases and paying 15c. postage and 15c. registration, which was introduced on 1st July. The Chinese Eastern railway was interrupted due to flooding in Manchuria; transit time 26 days. Photo
