1927 (1 July) an envelope from the German consulate in Tientsin, registered to Kashgar "via Siberia", bearing first Peking print 13c. and second Peking print 7c. tied by Tientsin c.d.s. with manuscript Tientsin registration mark written in violet crayon and bearing, on the reverse, Shufu (Kashgar) (31.7) c.d.s. Redirected to Calcutta, India bears "ierhkoszetang, china" red on white registration label of Irkestan exchange office and sent by the Trans-Caspian railway to Italy with "amb. tarvisio, venezia 190" transit c.d.s.
