1931 (28 June) a large envelope from the Sino-Swedish Sinkiang Expedition double registered to Sven Hedin in Stockholm "via Russia" bearing, on the reverse, 1924-36 10c. block of six tied by Tihwa (Urumtsi) c.d.s. with Tahcheng transit (3.7) c.d.s. alongside plus Provincial censor seal type 6 tied by the censor's handstamp; the address side with manuscript registration number and handstruck "tihwa" above (as seen on lot 2194). Small tear and creasing at side. Sent by Erik Norin. A good expedition letter used on the last day of the old postage rates of 20c. postage and 40c. double registered. Photo
