1930 (27 Oct.) envelope addressed to Dr. Nils Ambolt (of the Sven Hedin expedition) in Kashgar bearing 1924-36 6c. tied by a fine strike of Hotien Sin (Khotan) c.d.s. with a second strike alongside. Returned back to the Post Office in Khotan there is an arrival c.d.s. (17.6) and, on the reverse, Soche (Yarkand) transit (1.11). The letter was returned to the sender after eight months. Photo
