Whaling Ship "Pocahontas" at Tahihi, stampless folded letter, datelined "Pocahontas, Huahine, April 15, 1835", with interesting contents written by Captain Barnard, telling of sickness among the natives of the Society Islands, rated 14&1/2 in manuscript, handstamped SHIP in red and bearing red "New Beford Ms. Sep 22" c.d.s., addressed to Ichabod Goodwin at Portsmouth, very fine.
