1877 De La Rue issue
Collection of stamps beautifully written-up on exhibition pages with detailed specialist notes on printings and requisition dates, including 6d. to £5 complete set in singles, mint aside from £4 (which is not listed by S.G. in unused condition), hyphen errors on £1, £2 fine used, and £5 fine mint (rare thus), plus an additional fine used block of fourteen, postally used values (8) to £5, fiscally used values (8) bearing boxed "geregisteerd" cancellation, then a fine collection of mint multiples, with 6d. pearl-grey including current number blocks (2) and plate block, (all of eight), 2/- and £1 in fine mint unmounted blocks of four, with 1/6d., 5/-, 8/-, 10/- and £2 in beautifully fresh blocks of six, the £2 a plate block, the final pages being a fine collection of Banker's Draft (2), Provisional overprints (2), General Means Tax stamps (6) plus a further four used on receipt (toned though very rare), and "BW" overprints on 3d. blue postage stamps (13) including one used on complete Bill of Exchange.
