1898 De La Rue Appendix sheet dated "Oct. 21st. 1898." and endorsed "Req 85/98" in manuscript bearing fifteen colour trials denominated one rupee, head plates in olive-yellow (3), sage-green (3), brick red (3), brown (3), blue green (2) and blue (1), with value tablets variously in blue red or green, each gummed to sheet at top of stamp. Some display folds leaving proofs unaffected, nevertheless a spectacular and very fine exhibition grade sheet, from which only the olive-yellow and blue colour combination was used (for the 3r value in 1899).
