Customs Duty- Tobacco Bands
1878 group of Tobacco bands (21) for "cavendish or negrohead" cigarettes, fresh unused, and untrimmed (rare thus), each band folded in half and neatly mounted for display, including the rare 1878 'Under two ounces' value in red and brown, and four other early values with the "B" (British) designating letter, then 1892 sets of six to 'Under sixteen ounces' blue top value with both B and F (Foreign) letters. A most attractive and rarely seen collection of these colourful bands which display beautifully.
