1900 (May) envelope (flap missing), complete with letter, signed as from the Commanding Officer of the 1st. Gloucester Regiment to Calcutta, bearing 2½d. with neat datestamp and showing fine fancy-framed "gezien,/postcensor,/pretoria,/z.a.r." cachet in violet, the reverse with Lourenco Marques, Bombay and Calcutta datestamps; the letter giving details of camp life, rations and newspapers, etc. Photo
