1900 (Mar.) envelopes (2) from Trooper G. Urwin, of "B" Squadron, Col. Plumers Horse to England, the first from him at Crocodile Pools with datestamp (2.4) on face and large "T" handstamp cancelled out by "fb" in circle of bars handstamp, the letter written prior to a skirmish in which Urwin was wounded and taken prisoner near Mafeking on 31 March, and ( Apr.) "Veldienst" envelope to the same addressee whilst he was a prisoner, signed by Boer Commando on the Mafeking front, General J.P. Snijman, with Boer censor label and sent out via Lourenco Marques (15.4); a couple of faults though a most unusual pair
