1920 (30 March) H.M.S. "Renown" in Gatun Lake, Panama Canal; photograph annotated on the reverse in the hand of Lord Louis Mountbatten, cousin to the Prince of Wales who accompanied him on the Royal Tour to New Zealand and Australia. He indicates on the reverse of the photograph - "Hold up to Light" - "David's cabin", where the Press Correspondents live and "David's extra special bridge where he stands going in or out of harbour and waves his hand". Mountbatten reported back regularly to Freda Dudley Ward on the progress of the Tour. 9 x 6 inches. Photo
