1920 (16 March) postcard-size real photograph of the Prince of Wales, this famous pose, signed and dated by him "David / 16.3.20". Prince Edward was known as David by his family and a name only used by those in his closest personal circles. Photographs signed in this way are uncommon. At this date he was at sea, sailing aboard H.M.S. Renown towards Barbados on the first leg of the Royal Tour to New Zealand and Australia. Photo
