1896 (c.) photograph of Kitchener whilst Siridar of the Egyptian Army (4¾x5¾ inches) signed at foot "Herbert Kitchener Siridar); two corner faults and believed to have originated from the Elysee Palace in France. Also 1898 (24 November) the Cantab. journal with paper napkin which commemorated the visit of the Siridar and Kitchener presented with the freedom of the city and an honorary degree from Christ's College, Cambridge.
