1714-1824 which includes various accommodation receipts dated 1714 for the Red Regiment at Winchester, 1730 for the Blue Regiments of Middlesex, 1794 for the hire of a stone house for the Highland Troops, 1824 for quartering soldiers and another for billet for two Dragoons; also senior officers pay warrants dated 1782 for General Lord Amherst, 1790 for General Thomas Bland of the 5th Dragoon Guards, 1809 for Lieutenant Long of the 52nd Foot and 1817 for and signed by Capt. C. Yorke, Major of Brigade. Also a printed form being the oath taken by members of the Militia in the reign of K.G.III, 1814 a printed Account of the Extraordinary Expenses of the Army and a few pages from a large ledger giving the numbers and rates of pay of the Royal Manchester Volunteers.
