Sir John Moore (1620 – 1702) was the Member of Parliament for the City of London from 15 May 1685 to 9 January 1687 and Lord Mayor of London, 1681-82. He became a merchant in London, was active in the lead business, then in trade with East India, and became Master of the Grocer's Company. He was a leading figure in the rebuilding after the Fire of London and supplied most of the lead for the roof of St. Paul's when it was rebuilt.
