Canada, Province of Nova Scotia: Shubenaccadie Canal Company, one share, 182[6], #1663, black printing, paper seal at top left. Linking Halifax Harbour with the Bay of Fundy by way of the Shubenacadie River and Shubenacadie Grand Lake. Begun in 1826, but not completed until 1861. Closed in 1871. Spolt along centre fold but VF and rare.
