Canada: Department of the Interior, a pair of specimen certificates for $80 and $160, 1885, entitling the bearer to purchase Dominion Lands, deer at top, ornate printing by the British American Bank Note Co., blue and green respectively. Although numbered the certificates are handstamped by the printers and have a handwritten note 'Specimen for Agent, Manitoba Supplementary Half Breed Scrip'; together with a similar issued certificate for $20, 18[96], #1093, black, stamped Cancelled.
