1889 (7 May) envelope registered to Munich, bearing 1880 1c. blue (2), and 2c. rose (2), with 1886-99 1c. pink and 2c. pale blue-green, each cancelled with "bassa/ liberia" c.d.s. showing on face violet "Registered" handstamp at upper left, Liverpool (25.6) and London 25.6) oval registration d.s. with British "R" in oval and Munich (27.6) arrival c.d.s. on reverse. Trivial perf soiling from adhesive though a remarkable and very rare franking. S.G. 13, 14, 21, 22. Photo.
