1881 (4 Dec.) linen-backed envelope ex the "Pollock" correspondence to London, bearing 1880 CC 10c. brown tied by circle of dots (Proud Type K1), showing Labuan c.d.s. (Type D4, over eight months earlier than recorded) in opposite corner with arrival datestamp (9.1) on reverse; the envelope with part of flap torn away. A very early and rare franking. Photo
