1914-15 Star (1637 Pte. A. E. Taylor, W. Kent Yeo.); British War and Victory Medals (270800 Pte. A. E. Taylor, W. Kent Yeo.), polished, thus good fine (3)

The 1/1st West Kent Yeomanry landed at Cape Helles, Gallipoli on 8 October 1915. Taylor and his comrades were quickly deployed to the Gully Ravine sector, where General Sir Ian Hamilton noted that they 'made a brave showing'; so, too, in subsequent actions at 'Border Barricade' and 'Fusilier Bluff'.

Taylor later served in the Military Mounted Police; sold with copied MIC.
