George Robert Ellison was born at High Westwood, Hamsterley Colliery, Co. Durham, the son of Joseph and Mary Ellison. He enlisted in the Northumberland Yeomanry and was serving as a Trumpeter and the time of his death through sickness on 15 November 1918. Aged 23 years, he was buried in Busigny Communal Cemetery Extension, France; sold with copied research.
