Henry E. Davies served in 1/1st Denbighshire Yeomanry in Egypt. The unit was reformed as the 24th (Denbighshire Yeomanry) Battalion, Royal Welch Fusiliers in early 1917 and later went to France; his verified award of the Territorial Force War Medal is believed to be one of just 29 such awards to the Denbighshire Yeomanry; sold with copied MIC.
