Tullett); Royal Navy L.S. & G.C., V.R., narrow suspension (Austin Tullett, Gunr., No. 2072, R.M.A.), the second and third with officially re-impressed naming, the last polished, good fine, the remainder very fine or better (4)

Austin Tullett was born at Charlwood, Surrey in October 1862 and enlisted in the Royal Marine Artillery at Eastney in October 1880. He awarded the L.S. & G.C. Medal in February 1894 and enrolled in the Royal Fleet Reserve in October 1904. Recalled on the outbreak of hostilities in August 1914, he witnessed active service in the R.M. Brigade at Ostend before joining the armed merchant cruiser H.M.S. Calgarian in September 1914. Having then come ashore in September 1916, he was demobilised in May 1919; sold with copied service record.
