#1b, 1863 1/2r Blue, imperforate horizontally, a striking unused block of nine (3x3) that is completely imperforate horizontally, being the largest surviving intact multiple from the unique discovery sheet of 100, well centered vertically, rich color, couple of stamps at bottom right with trivial staining of little impact given the unique status of this important multiple, fine; one of the key rarities of the first issue and of the entire country for that matter; catalogs in Scott at $1,500.00 per pair.
