India - Bikanir extensive revenue stamp collection of many hundreds of items neatly mounted and written-up on quadrilled pages in two binders, includes many 1884-85 issues, receipt stamps, foreign bill, court fees, many Talbana tickets and an entire volume full of Hundi issues, this being a financial instrument which was used as a form of remittance instrument to transfer money, as a credit instrument or IOU to borrow money and as a bill of exchange in trade transactions; a very interesting and unusual lot.
