"Doterel" at St. Vincent, carried at military concessionary rate validated with "Commander Officer" endorsement and signature, paid with 1881-81 1d Venetian-red, tied at Southampton with "727" barred oval showing "Southampton/Mar 16 81/Ship Letter" c.d.s. alongside, additionally rated with ½d marking, backstamped on arrival, some tone spots, still though a very scarce and desirable military usage; 1986 R.P.S: certificate.
