S.G. #19, 1873 6d Dull blue-green, slightly defective top margin and slightly toned along perforations, on envelope with contents to Washington, tied by "A10" barred oval, showing red crayon "4", "New York/Due 10"/U.S. Currency" c.d.s. -changed to due 5-, carried by RMSP "Corsica" from St. Vincent to Barbados, transferred to the RMSP "Eider"for onward transmission to St. Thomas, from where it was embarked on the SS "Merrimach" to New York, an interesting usage to United States carried through a rare route including St. Thomas; 2003 R.P.S. certificate.
