Colombia, 1846-62 incoming mail from England, three covers from London and Liverpool entering the Colombian mails at Cartagena and Santa Marta, of which two stampless and one with interesting notation denoting the involvement of a forwarding agent, the third, carried by the RSMP "Seine" to St. Thomas and being embarked on the "Tamar" to Santa Marta, bears marginal pair of 1s on dispatch (defective at base) and was carried at double rate, although it was charged at single rate on arrival with "1" due marking for 10 centavos not exceeding 10 grams; all with small oval Colombian handstamps and two showing framed "De Ultramar" postmark, fine-very fine, an unusual trio.
